Model
This page concerns organisations still on Abyla (the Model interface).
What it is for
If your organisation is still on an earlier version of our plan management tool, Model is what you use to view your models.
On the latest version, these plans are viewed straight from a property's Plans tab.
Model lets you view your modelled portfolio in 2D and 3D. The 3D view is only available on properties whose model was produced using a 3D modelling method.
Viewing plans and information panels
The tree of your portfolio takes the left of the screen. Click a level to expand it and move around the property. To see a level's information, click it — or click a room or piece of equipment directly on the plan.
Step by step:
- Choose the level you want in the tree: site, building, floor, room, equipment.
- Go to the Information tab.
- Expand the panel's group.
Check that your display settings are compatible, in the dedicated menu.

| Ruler | Measure a dimension between two points: the plans are to scale |
| Zoom in / out | Ctrl + scroll wheel also works |
| Centre | Bring the plan back to its origin |
| Window zoom | Zoom into an area you draw |
| Pan | Move the plan — Alt + left click also works |

Themes
Themes colour the plans from the data held in the model: equipment condition, dwellings' letting management code, room type…
- Choose your level.
- Choose the Themes tab.
- Choose the theme type — which themes are available depends on the level selected.
- Apply it: the plan colours itself automatically.
- Press the eraser to clear it.

- Narrow to a sub-system to target a single component.
- The result appears, and the equipment found is coloured on the plan.
