Only the codes actually matched are keys: a requested code with no match, or unknown to the organization, is absent from the map — read it as belongsTo.<code> ?? []. A missing key is normal and frequent, not a data gap: an equipment in a common area belongs to no rented unit, and a finish on an exterior wall belongs to no room. Each key maps to a list with no defined order: an asset usually belongs to several levels at once, and the first one is not the nearest. Picking a single one is a precedence rule of the calling system. Each entry carries the asset uid, the same shape parent and groupedBy use.
